I adore versatile pieces (then again, who doesn’t?), and I would always rather spend my money on an item that will pair with lots of things in my closet and can be styled for multiple occasions. This is part of the reason that for so long I’ve relied on silk blouses for work, since I can also throw them on with a pair of jeans and boots and have an instant weekend-chic look. It’s also why I instantly gravitated to this Club Monaco skirt when I saw it in stores. I think the pattern is so fun, and the material and length makes it appropriate for most offices, while still being cute enough to wear casually or to a special event. I wore this look to the office this week (but may or may not have ditched my tights for the pictures – I can at least wish for warm weather), and I can’t wait to style this piece with strappy sandals and a light top in warmer weather.
Do you have any favorite pieces you would recommend that you find you wear everywhere? I’m always looking for more great versatile clothes! As always, thank you so much for reading!
Please forgive me the wrinkled shirt. These photos were taken at the very end of the day, for which I’m going to blame the ridiculously cold weather and my poor planning. That being said, I should have noticed and fixed it. Rookie move on my end, and I promise to be better next time. I suppose this acts as a fair warning though – if you decide to get this shirt, know that it crinkles and wrinkles throughout the day.
On a happier note, it’s Friday!! Happy Friday everybody I hope you have amazing weekends! As always thank you so much for reading!
