Spring weather has finally landed here in NYC, and man does it feel good! I love being able to walk around in just a few light layers instead of feeling the need to cover every inch of skin while venturing outdoors (and feeling bad for my left-out nose). While I have a few spring go-tos that have been in my closet for years (and that I love dearly), I couldn’t help but fall in love with this patterned silk bomber jacket. Not the most practical you say? Well, sure. But I find that I wear it all the time! It’s an easy fit, works well over extra layers, and it’s reversible. Oh yes. Two-for-one. Be on the lookout for a post featuring the other side. It’s on its way.

Hi everybody!

I hope you’re all enjoying the long weekend! I’ve been taking advantage of the extra day off by spending the weekend at Sunday River in Maine with my company’s ski trip! I grew up skiing and I absolutely love skiing with friends, so this weekend is just what I was hoping for. There hasn’t been a whole lot of sleep, but it is so definitely worth it!

This outfit is actually what I wore to work on Friday, but we left for the mountain straight from work, and I didn’t have a chance to snap these photos until last night (and we’re in the condo hallway – not the most glamorous, but it was cold, rainy, and dark outside, so you know, it was the best option at the time). I love these shoes – I got them on super sale from Lord & Taylor, and they’re actually Sperry brand which surprised me. They are super comfortable, and such a great alternative to heels when you’re looking for something a tad more on the practical side.

Also, thank you to all who participated in my giveaway! There was a great turnout and I’m so thrilled that people got excited about the earrings. I’ll clean and validate the entries this week and announce in my next post!

As always, thank you so much for reading!!
