I am so feeling this spring weather in NYC. The temperatures are getting warmer, my layers are getting lighter, and I am all around thrilled that sustained warmth is within my grasp. To celebrate that a few warm springtime days finally showed up to the party, I’m further indulging my current neon tendencies (references here, here, and here), as well checking in on my latest obsession (full explanation here) for more spring-y inspiration. Happy days. Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you’re enjoying spring just as much as I am!
Spring weather has finally landed here in NYC, and man does it feel good! I love being able to walk around in just a few light layers instead of feeling the need to cover every inch of skin while venturing outdoors (and feeling bad for my left-out nose). While I have a few spring go-tos that have been in my closet for years (and that I love dearly), I couldn’t help but fall in love with this patterned silk bomber jacket. Not the most practical you say? Well, sure. But I find that I wear it all the time! It’s an easy fit, works well over extra layers, and it’s reversible. Oh yes. Two-for-one. Be on the lookout for a post featuring the other side. It’s on its way.
There’s nothing like a pair of flattering pants to make a girl feel good. These pants were recently acquired after a waiting period in which I thought about and lusted after them a lot. I couldn’t get them out of my head, so I did what any rational person would do, and went ahead and bought them (but it wasn’t an impulse buy, you see). And good thing too, since I wear them all the time these days. They’re a bit tight, but the denim is really thick which makes me feel properly covered (no potential legging confusion), and they’re so versatile. I’ve worn them to work (I’m at an office that dresses down these days – this one won’t work for everybody), out on dates, running errands, and to brunch. Successful purchase, if you ask me.
Thanks so much for reading! I’d love to hear about your current favorite pants. Got any tips for me for when I feel like splurging again?
